Litigation Paralegal
Foley & Lardner LLP is a leading law firm that values unique perspectives and professional growth. They are seeking a Litigation Paralegal to support their Construction Defects department, focusing on pre-suit matters, case development, and communication with attorneys and paralegals.
Responsibilities
- Handle case intake; researching property records, providing pertinent details to docketing, updating database with claim info
- Monitor Arbitration filings inbox to relay deadlines to docketing
- Communicate priority issues to attorneys and paralegals
- Submit Process Server and Expert invoices in Emburse Enterprise (Chrome River)
- Handle American Arbitration Association (AAA) invoices
- Update claims database
- Other miscellaneous tasks and meet daily deadlines
- Consistently achieve billable hour expectation set by the firm (including approved non-billable time)
Skills
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of one (1) year of experience as a Paralegal or similar role
- Bachelor's Degree or paralegal certificate from an ABA approved paralegal program
- Construction defects experience
