Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to thoroughly evaluate clients’ mental health concerns and collaboratively develop personalized treatment plans that align with their unique needs.
- Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to foster a supportive therapeutic environment.
- Engage in collaborative team meetings with psychiatrists, psychologists, and case managers to create an integrated care plan that addresses the multifaceted needs of clients.
- Provide education and support to clients’ family members, enhancing their understanding of the mental health process and encouraging their active involvement in recovery.
- Maintain detailed, accurate, and confidential records in compliance with HIPAA and ethical standards, ensuring that documentation reflects each client’s progress and treatment milestones.
- Utilize telehealth platforms to conduct remote therapy sessions, ensuring accessibility and convenience for clients.
Patient Population / Client Focus You will work with a diverse clientele that includes individuals from varying backgrounds and experiences, particularly those facing challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and other mental health disorders. Qualifications
- A current and valid license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
- A master's or doctoral degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field is required.
- Demonstrated experience and specialized training in mental health counseling, with a solid understanding of evidence-based practices relevant to various mental health disorders.
- Exceptional therapeutic skills, with a capacity to establish rapport and motivate clients throughout their recovery processes.
