About the Role: Lead Analyst, Medical Cost Analytics / Utilization Management We're seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Analyst to join our Medical Cost Analytics / Utilization Management team on a full-time remote basis. As a Lead Analyst, you will play a critical role in driving strategic decisions that save medical costs and improve healthcare outcomes. You'll leverage your expertise in analytics, business strategy, and healthcare industry trends to develop and implement data-driven solutions that deliver tangible business impact. Key Responsibilities:

• Act as the product owner for multiple analytics initiatives, translating business needs into actionable projects and solutions.
• Collaborate with business partners to understand their challenges and goals, performing statistical analysis, developing data reports, and creating performance metrics.
• Consult with internal clients to identify opportunities for implementing data science solutions to business problems, driving analytics insights, and analytical solutions.
• Structure data analysis, drive analytics insights, and develop analytical solutions to help data scientists determine the best analytical approach.
• Present recommendations to senior staff and internal clients, mentoring junior team members, and sharing insights across teams.
• Autonomously lead the business partner relationship, driving development of complex solutions with high risk.
• Identify trends and opportunities for cost savings initiatives, evaluating the effectiveness of programs and presenting findings to stakeholders.

Essential Qualifications:

• 7+ years of experience leading analytics initiatives with a proven track record of business impact.
• 5+ years of experience using SQL to extract, manipulate, and analyze large datasets.
• 4+ years of experience working in the healthcare industry, with a deep understanding of healthcare data.
• 4+ years of experience in strategic consulting or on strategy teams in a large company, providing actionable insights and recommendations to senior leaders and stakeholders.
• 3+ years of experience identifying trends and opportunities for cost savings initiatives and evaluating program effectiveness.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex data and findings to various stakeholders.
• Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Collaborative mindset with excellent interpersonal skills and a growth mindset.
• Knowledge of healthcare industry trends and regulatory changes.
• High proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including MS Excel and PowerPoint.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Proficiency in mathematical analysis methods, machine learning, statistical analyses, and predictive modeling.
• In-depth specialization in specific areas of analytics or data science.
• Master's degree in a quantitative field or MBA.

Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Medical Economics, Math, Actuarial Science, Data Science, or a related field is required.
