It is the mission of the Commission on Peace Officer Standards and Training (POST) to continually enhance the professionalism of California law enforcement in serving its communities. POST is recruiting for multiple LEC positions in the Professional Conduct Southern Bureau in the Peace Officer Standards Accountability Division (POSAD). POSAD reviews investigations conducted by law enforcement agencies and conducts additional investigations into serious misconduct that may provide grounds for suspension or revocation of a peace officer's certification. However, the work assignment is located in Southern California and requires travel to various locations, including Los Angeles County, San Diego County, San Bernardino County, etc., in order to conduct investigations related to serious misconduct. - Provide a narrative summary of your professional experience as it relates to the Peace Officer Standards and Training Law Enforcement Consultant classification.
- Provide a detailed account of any experience you have in providing testimony either as an investigator or subject matter expert before a court, oversight body, or hiring authority.
- Provide your experience with conducting investigations within a law enforcement setting, including any notable cases of outcomes.
