Key Responsibilities

  • Accurate Data Input: Enter, verify, and maintain healthcare-related data into our electronic management systems with a minimum typing speed of 25 words per minute while maintaining 98% accuracy or higher.
  • Data Validation: Review entered data for errors, inconsistencies, or missing information, and make necessary corrections to ensure data integrity and compliance with industry standards.
  • Document Processing: Handle various documents including patient records, insurance forms, billing information, and administrative paperwork with strict confidentiality and attention to detail.
  • Quality Assurance: Perform regular quality checks on data entries, identify patterns in errors, and implement corrective measures to improve overall data accuracy.
  • Communication: Collaborate with team members and supervisors to resolve data discrepancies, clarify information, and ensure smooth workflow operations.
  • Software Utilization: Operate data entry software, Microsoft Office applications, and specialized healthcare data management systems effectively.
  • Time Management: Prioritize tasks, manage multiple data entry projects simultaneously, and meet established deadlines without compromising quality.
  • Continuous Improvement: Suggest process improvements, identify inefficiencies, and contribute to enhancing overall department performance.

Essential Qualifications

  • Educational Background: High school diploma or equivalent required. Post-secondary education in healthcare administration, business, or a related field is a plus.
  • Typing Proficiency: Demonstrated typing speed of at least 25 words per minute with exceptional accuracy. Speed and accuracy are crucial for success in this role.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and familiarity with data entry software and electronic health record systems.
  • Attention to Detail: Exceptional ability to spot errors, inconsistencies, and discrepancies in numerical and textual data. A meticulous approach to work is essential.
