IT Operations Specialist
Pink Elephant is a venture builder and investment company developing an ecosystem of progressive mental health solutions. Our portfolio combines media, diagnostics, e-commerce, telemedicine, and technology to make evidence-based therapies and holistic practices more accessible. Through our media platform States of Mind, we create high-quality content, diagnostic tools, and a curated provider marketplace, helping people navigate options from psychotherapy and ketamine therapy to wellness supplements and mindfulness practices. We focus on Europe and other advanced markets, preparing infrastructure for the coming wave of psychedelic and mental health innovation. Our mission is to destigmatize and expand access to progressive mental health solutions, ranging from advanced therapies to holistic practices - supporting both individuals with clinical conditions such as depression, anxiety, or PTSD, and those seeking to strengthen their overall mental well-being. We combine scientific rigor and evidence-based standards with clear, accessible communication to make these tools understandable and usable for everyone. The Role As IT Operations Specialist, you will own the operational and technical backbone of Pink Elephant: the accesses, domains, deployments, billing settings, and infrastructure details that currently distract the core team from working on the main product. This is not a core product engineering or architecture position. The value of this role is closing technical admin tasks quickly, carefully, and independently, and helping the team take small exploratory projects from zero to a domain with users. Responsibilities: What You Will Drive Company technical administration Configure DNS records, domains, and Cloudflare; Add and remove users across services during onboarding and offboarding; Manage access in GitHub, Google Workspace, DigitalOcean, Cloudflare, and other services; Update payment cards and billing details in SaaS services; Make sure critical services never go down due to payments, access, or misconfiguration; Help team members with technical questions about accounts, access, and services. Supporting exploratory project launches Help product managers and other team members take small prototypes and MVPs from “working code” to “available on a domain and usable by first users”; Set up repositories, GitHub Actions, environment variables, deployment, domains, SSL, and basic infrastructure; Deploy to DigitalOcean and Cloudflare, and occasionally Google Cloud, AWS, or other simple platforms; Support simple MVPs where launching fast and testing a hypothesis matters more than building complex architecture. Experience: What You Bring Technical foundation Confident understanding of DNS, domains, SSL, and basic networking; Hands-on experience with Cloudflare; Experience with DigitalOcean or similar cloud/VPS/PaaS services; Solid understanding of GitHub, repositories, access management, and GitHub Actions; Basic experience deploying web applications; Understanding of environment variables, secrets, API keys, and basic security hygiene. Working style Careful and precise with access, payments, and production settings; Independent: able to figure out an unfamiliar SaaS service and see a task through to the end; Reliable and responsible; the role involves access to critical company accounts. What We Don’t Expect Designing the architecture of the core product; Being a senior backend or frontend engineer; Building enterprise-grade infrastructure; Doing core development on Claro. Who You Are You have already been the “technical person for everything” at a startup, an agency, a small product company, or an internal ops team. You can set up a domain, get an application running, sort out GitHub Actions, update a billing card, grant access, fix a broken deploy - and meticulously document what was done.
