What You'll Do
- Analyze company performance drivers, financial statements, and key business metrics
- Evaluate competitive positioning, market dynamics, and sector-specific trends
- Assess macro trends and their implications for strategic investment scenarios
- Compare qualitative narrative commentary against quantitative signals for consistency and accuracy
- Summarize opportunities, risks, and potential investment scenarios in clear, structured formats
- Deliver well-reasoned insights aligned to project briefs and analytical frameworks
- Work independently and asynchronously — fully on your own schedule
Who You Are
- Background in investment research, equity analysis, corporate strategy, consulting, or finance
- Strong analytical reasoning — you can assess complex financial and competitive dynamics quickly
- Excellent written communication skills — you translate nuanced analysis into clear, structured insights
- Comfortable working across industries and adapting frameworks to new contexts
- Detail-oriented and consistent, with a high bar for analytical rigor
- Self-motivated and reliable when working independently without close supervision
Nice to Have
- Experience with valuation methodologies — DCF, comparables, precedent transactions, or similar
- Familiarity with sector-specific analytical frameworks (tech, healthcare, industrials, financials, etc.)
- CFA designation or progress toward it
- Prior experience in buy-side, sell-side, or strategy consulting environments
- Exposure to AI tools or financial data platforms
