Interactive Media Artist
Our client is seeking a talented and versatile Interactive Media Artist to join their fully remote creative team. This role is crucial for conceptualizing and producing visually stunning and engaging interactive experiences across digital platforms. You will be responsible for creating a wide range of assets, including 2D and 3D graphics, animations, motion graphics, UI elements, and visual effects for web, mobile, and emerging media applications. The ideal candidate possesses a strong artistic foundation, excellent technical skills in industry-standard software, and a passion for interactive storytelling. You will collaborate closely with designers, developers, and content creators to translate creative visions into tangible, immersive experiences. Responsibilities include developing visual concepts, storyboarding, asset creation, animation, and ensuring visual consistency throughout projects. A keen eye for detail, color theory, composition, and user interface design is essential. Experience with various interactive platforms and technologies is highly valued. Responsibilities: Create high-quality 2D and 3D graphics, illustrations, and animations for interactive media projects. Develop visual concepts, storyboards, and style guides for interactive experiences. Design and implement user interface (UI) elements and visual assets for web and mobile applications. Produce motion graphics and visual effects to enhance user engagement. Collaborate with developers and content creators to integrate visual assets seamlessly. Ensure visual consistency and adherence to brand guidelines across all projects. Optimize graphics and animations for performance across different platforms and devices. Stay updated on the latest trends and technologies in interactive media and digital art. Troubleshoot and resolve visual asset-related issues. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Digital Art, Animation, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience. Proven experience as an Interactive Media Artist, Graphic Designer, or similar role. Strong portfolio showcasing a diverse range of interactive media projects, including 2D/3D art, animation, and UI design. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects), and relevant 3D software (e.g., Blender, Maya). Familiarity with game engines (Unity, Unreal Engine) and interactive design principles is a plus. Excellent understanding of visual design principles, composition, and color theory. Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a remote setting.
