Insurance Verification Specialist - Remote
Overview
The insurance verification specialist is a subject matter expert on dental insurance plans and benefits; responsible for verifying patient insurance coverage to ensure necessary procedures are covered by an individual s insurance plan. In Short This is a hybrid role to allow flexibility and promote a better work-life balance. Retrieve insurance breakdown information prior to patient appointments. Ensure accurate data entry into Open Dental of the insurance plan information. Coordinate with the practice, the third party vendor and the RCM team.
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent. 3 - 5 years of experience working with insurance companies and extensive knowledge of different types of coverage and policies. Computer, telephone, internet, Virtual fax machine.
