Infrastructure/Systems Administrator
About the position Join our dynamic team as an Infrastructure/Systems Administrator and play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing our IT infrastructure. Responsibilities
- Resolve IT hardware and software infrastructure issues (servers, network, security, etc.) using advanced systems analysis techniques.
- Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve issues with IT infrastructure, including user systems, servers, storage, and network connectivity.
- Provide system administration for assigned infrastructure and ensure robust security measures are in place.
- Apply security patches and operating system upgrades to maintain the security and integrity of the technical environment.
- Support new infrastructure projects and initiatives.
- Maintain comprehensive configuration documentation for all assigned infrastructure.
- Collaborate closely with architects, technical leads, software developers, testers, security teams, and stakeholders.
- Be available for off-hours work as needed for support and deployments.
Requirements
- Active TS/SCI w/ poly.
- Active DoD 8140 (formerly 8570) compliant certification
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience in lieu of a degree.
- Minimum 5 years of related experience.
- Extensive experience with Linux operating systems in development/test and production environments.
- Prior experience in a corporate or customer-facing role.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical and investigative skills to understand and resolve complex problems.
- Experience managing large projects or processes that span multiple departments.
