Human Data Manager | Up to $60/hr
Role Description Sense AI is hiring Human Data Managers to help scale a global voice recording program used to train advanced AI speech and conversation models. In this role, you’ll recruit and manage contributors who record high-quality two-person English conversations through the Sense AI Voice Contributor Portal. You’ll be responsible for onboarding contributors, ensuring they have the correct recording setup, reviewing submitted voice recordings for quality, and helping contributors improve their recordings so that more data is accepted. This is a performance-based role with significant upside tied directly to the volume and quality of accepted audio your contributors submit. Responsibilities:
- Recruit native or bilingual English-speaking contributors with American or European accents (via LinkedIn, Reddit, in-person referrals, etc.)
- Verify contributor applicants have required equipment before approving them
- Ensure contributors fully understand Sense AI’s voice recording requirements (provided upon hiring)
- Help contributors navigate the Sense AI Voice Contributor Portal
- Review submitted recordings for audio quality and guideline compliance
- Provide feedback regularly to help contributors improve future recordings
- Monitor contributor performance and remove low-performing contributors from the program
Required Equipment:
- Laptop or desktop computer with reliable internet access
- Headphones
- Contributors you manage must have: Device (such as a phone or computer) capable of recording with no white noise, stable WiFi, headphones or earbuds for all calls, and a quiet recording environment with no background or white noise
- External or USB microphone is strongly recommended for contributors, but not required if their device records clean audio
Compensation
- $2.00 for every approved hour of audio submitted by contributors you manage
- Example: 180 contributors × 12.5 approved hours/week × $2.00/hour = $4,500/week for you
- Opportunities for increased earnings as volume and quality scale
- Paid bi-weekly via Gusto
Qualifications
- Comfortable recruiting and managing a large number of audio data collectors
- Attention to detail when reviewing audio quality
- Ability to identify background noise, white noise, echo, unclear speech, and poor recording quality
- Experience with recruiting, data labelling, operations, audio review, or content moderation
- Familiarity with voice recording, microphones, and audio quality review
- Ability to give clear, constructive feedback to contributors
