HR / Recruiting Coordinator: Vet Candidates, Run Culture Index + First-Round Interviews
About us We're a fast-growing AI software company hiring across technical and operational roles. Our leadership team is stretched thin during a major product launch, and we need a sharp, reliable HR contractor to own the front end of our hiring pipeline so our team can focus on final-round decisions. What you'll do - Screen and vet incoming applications against a role-specific checklist we'll build together - Administer and help interpret our Culture Index assessment for promising candidates - Conduct structured first-round interviews using a question guide we provide - Summarize each candidate clearly so our team can quickly decide who advances to round two - Keep our pipeline organized and candidates moving (no one falling through the cracks) You'll handle round one. Our internal team takes rounds two and three, so your job is to surface the strongest people and give us tight, honest write-ups. You're a great fit if you - Have real recruiting or HR screening experience (tech/startup hiring a plus) - Are comfortable on video interviews and can quickly build rapport - Write concise, useful candidate summaries — signal over noise - Are organized, responsive, and good at following a defined process Bonus: familiarity with Culture Index or similar behavioral assessments Engagement Part-time / hourly to start, ongoing potential as we scale hiring Flexible hours, but responsiveness during U.S. business hours matters To apply Tell us briefly about your recruiting experience, the types of roles you've screened for, and your availability per week.
