Please find the job details below and forward me your updated resume along with your contact details [email protected] HP-UX / Linux System Administrator Location :: Remote Job Summary Experienced HP-UX/Linux System Administrator responsible for installation, configuration, maintenance, troubleshooting, and optimization of enterprise infrastructure environments. The role involves managing HPVM virtualization, Service Guard clusters, SAN/storage environments, and HPE blade infrastructure while supporting production systems in a customer-facing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot HP-UX and Linux operating systems
- Manage and optimize HPVM virtualization environments
- Monitor system health, performance, availability, and capacity
- Troubleshoot infrastructure issues using diagnostic and testing tools
- Install, configure, and support Service Guard clustering solutions
- Administer enterprise SAN environments, fiber channel switches, and storage systems
- Monitor storage utilization, reporting, performance, and availability
- Support HPE C7000 chassis and Itanium blade infrastructure
- Perform system patching, upgrades, and maintenance activities
- Collaborate with customers and internal teams to resolve technical issues
- Ensure system reliability, uptime, and operational stability
- Maintain technical documentation and operational procedures
Required Skills
- Strong experience with HP-UX administration
- Good Linux system administration experience
- Hands-on expertise with HPVM virtualization stack
- Experience with Service Guard configuration and support
- Knowledge of SAN administration and fiber channel switches
- Understanding of enterprise storage environments
- Experience with HPE C7000 chassis and Itanium blades
- Strong troubleshooting and performance tuning skills
- Excellent communication and customer management abilities
