DCX Client Services – Home-Based Designer The DCX Client Services – Home-Based Designer will work as a full-time employee for a growing business based in the United States. In this role, you will collaborate closely with furniture dealers to create functional, visually appealing office space solutions by developing floor plans, 3D renderings, and project quotations. You will play an important role in helping clients bring their workplace vision to life by recommending the right furniture solutions based on their requirements, budget, and space constraints. This position requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to balance design creativity with business objectives. REQUIRED CORE COMPETENCIES Excellent communication and customer service skills Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Analytical thinking and problem-solving ability Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines Collaborative mindset with a proactive, customer-focused approach WHAT YOU WILL DO Consult with furniture dealers to understand project requirements, budgets, timelines, workstation counts, and space planning needs. Create floor plans and 3D renderings using CET, SketchUp, and AutoCAD. Recommend appropriate furniture products and workspace solutions based on client requirements and project objectives. Prepare accurate project quotations and apply appropriate pricing discounts when applicable. Update quotations and revise project designs as needed to ensure accuracy and completeness. Identify opportunities to increase product sales by recommending appropriate design solutions during the planning process. Apply feedback from sales managers and team members to optimize product selections while supporting margin goals. Collaborate closely with Customer Service and Purchasing teams to ensure projects are ordered accurately and efficiently. Maintain organized project documentation and ensure timely completion of assigned deliverables. Perform other design-related duties and special projects as assigned. WHAT WE LOOK FOR Education Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, Industrial Design, or a related field preferred. Experience At least 1 year of experience in interior design, space planning, furniture design, or a related field. Experience working with commercial office furniture or workplace design is a plus. Language Proficiency Strong verbal and written English communication skills. Work Schedule Ability to work overnight/graveyard shifts in Philippine time or within U.S. operating hours. Technical Skills Experience using CET, SketchUp, and AutoCAD is preferred but not required. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint. Strong computer proficiency with the ability to quickly learn new software and systems. Basic mathematical and measurement skills. Industry Specific Software/Knowledge Space planning experience is highly preferred. Understanding of office furniture systems and workplace design concepts is a plus. Ability to interpret client requirements and translate them into functional workspace designs. Strong understanding of quoting processes and project coordination is an advantage.
