Grant Writer--Remote in Minnesota

- *Duties
- *Grant Writing & Development
- Assist in drafting, editing, and proofreading grant proposals, letters of inquiry, and reports.
- Collaborate with program staff to gather data, outcomes, and stories to support proposals.
- Ensure all grant materials align with funder guidelines and organizational goals.
- *Research & Prospecting
- Research potential grant opportunities from foundations, corporations, and government sources.
- Maintain a calendar of deadlines and assist in prioritizing opportunities based on alignment and deadlines.
- *Documentation & Reporting
- Track submitted proposals and reporting requirements.
- Assist in preparing interim and final reports for funders.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the grant management system.
- *Team Collaboration
- Participate in grant team meetings and strategy sessions.
- Support the Executive Director and senior grant writers with administrative and writing tasks.
- Coordinate with finance and program teams to gather necessary budget and program information.
- *Qualifications
- *Required
- Strong writing, editing, and research skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and work collaboratively.
- *Preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Nonprofit Management, or related field.
- 1–2 years of experience in grant writing or nonprofit development.
- Familiarity with grant databases and CRM systems (Foundation Directory Online, instrumentl).

Pay: $28.00 - $30.00 per hour Experience
