Graduate Nursing - Assistant/Associate Clinical Professor (Online FNP)
Assistant Or Associate Professor The Davis & Henley College of Nursing is currently searching for a faculty member at the rank of assistant or associate professor for a 12-month appointment. This position will have primary teaching responsibilities in the online FNP program including the PM certificate programs. The candidate should be active in clinical practice. Faculty are responsible for advising students each semester. This is a remote position but does require travel to campus at least twice a year and as requested by the department chair. Requirements: The ideal candidate will meet the following requirements:
- RN license and APRN license
- FNP national board certification required, and PMHNP preferred
- An earned doctorate in nursing
- Previous online graduate teaching experience
- FNP experience (minimum 2 years)
- Current FNP practice
- Evidence of scholarship
- Leadership experience in curriculum development and program administration preferred.
- Experience in leading an academic team and meeting accreditation and academic nurse practitioner standards required.
