GIS Analyst/Specialist/Engineer
You will perform geospatial analysis and develop solutions to meet specific business needs.
Responsibilities
- Write code and perform geo-analysis to combine and transform datasets for business requirements.
- Apply quality controls to output data to ensure accuracy and usability for the intended audience.
- Develop reports and dashboards in formats including Power BI and GIS Maps to share insights.
- Deconstruct complex requests from senior managers into discrete, solvable tasks.
- Document technical work and resulting insights for both technical and non-technical audiences.
Required Skills
- 5+ years of hands-on experience supporting ESRI GIS software (ArcGIS, ArcGIS Server, ArcGIS Desktop).
- Strong programming skills in Python or SQL for data analytics.
- Proficiency in GIS Software Applications, preferably ArcPro and Enterprise.
- Experience with database design and management.
- Familiarity with business intelligence tools, specifically Power BI and Tableau.
- Ability to read and interpret code in Python, SQL, or R.
- Understanding of analytical methods, including probability and statistics.
- Experience with data processing and management support tools, including MS Office and Microsoft Dynamics.
- Strong written and oral communication skills when relating technical information to non-technical personnel.
