Full Time Retail Sales Specialist
About the position The Retail Sales Specialist will properly manage their assigned territory by completing store visits, surveys, and tasks for Ferrara Candy Company. They will have the ability to take pictures and complete reporting requirements with the technology provided. This position will require merchandising, and the ability to repeatedly bend and lift up to 50 pounds. This position is full time, 37.5 / hours a week. The compensation is $28 - $30 hourly, based on experience, qualifications, and skills. You will be responsible for selling, merchandising, gaining/maintaining distribution for Ferrara Candy Company. Ensure our clients' products are well stocked and order if product is not in stock or low. This position requires consistent use of mobile apps for reporting, photo uploads, task completion, and communication. This position requires you to switch between tasks such as stocking, reporting, and communicating with store teams throughout the day. You must be able to lift, bend/stoop for extended periods of time. This is a position where you work independently, follow directions, and have excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Properly manage assigned territory by completing store visits, surveys, and tasks for Ferrara Candy Company.
- Take pictures and complete reporting requirements with the technology provided.
- Merchandising.
- Selling, merchandising, gaining/maintaining distribution for Ferrara Candy Company.
- Ensure clients' products are well stocked and order if product is not in stock or low.
- Consistent use of mobile apps for reporting, photo uploads, task completion, and communication.
- Switch between tasks such as stocking, reporting, and communicating with store teams throughout the day.
- Gain and maintain product distribution by establishing strong relationships with store teams.
- Ordering products, working product to shelves from new orders.
- Conduct audits in area grocery stores.
- Travel to and between store locations within the designated territory.
- Verify that clients' products are accurately represented on store shelves.
- Maintain a safe working environment while working in the stores.
- Maintain a professional appearance and adhere to dress code and attendance guidelines.
- Comply with any additional guidelines established by the Store Team.
- Attend client kickoff video calls and team check-ins as required.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Reliable transportation
- Valid Driver License
- Proof of Automobile insurance
- Reliable phone (within 5 years old) service and internet service for daily communication.
- Ability to drive to stores in assigned territory to complete retail tasks & audits at local grocery retailer.
- Strong communication skills and ability to follow directions independently.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, squat, and lift regularly throughout the day.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, retail environment with minimal supervision.
