About the role Join us as a Full-stack PHP Developer, where you’ll contribute to the development and improvement of modern web applications. In this role, you’ll work across both back-end and front-end components, build scalable and maintainable solutions, and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products. What you’ll be doing Taking ownership of the technical side of the project Developing new features in the project and supporting the existing ones Creating common UI components Providing technical and functional guidance in designing, maintaining, building, integrating, and testing components according to design specifications Contributing to technical design for features and solution components in their area of expertise Participating in developing and updating the comprehensive technical documentation Being accountable for the technological development decisions within the team Making sure the engineering practices and corporate standards are being followed Providing excellent customer service to drive the client's willingness to have a long-term collaboration with the company. What you’ll need 5+ years of commercial experience with PHP 7+ versions Proficiency in English (at least upper-intermediate level) Understanding of OOP Advanced architecture understanding both on a theoretical and practical level Strong knowledge of Design Patterns, SOLID, DRY, KISS principles Experience with the Laravel framework Experience with Laravel Nova and Laravel Horizon Experience with databases PostgreSQL/MySQL, Redis Experience with integrations of external API to the project Experience with AWS and cloud infrastructure (EC2, S3, RDS, etc.) Experience with Firebase Experience with Docker and containerization (Laravel Sail, Nginx, Supervisor) Experience with Next.js and React + Tailwind CSS Experience with Stripe or similar payment gateway integrations (nice to have) Experience with SendGrid or similar email delivery services (nice to have) Experience with OneSignal or similar push notification platforms (nice to have) What you’ll get at Syndicode 15 days of vacation, 11 days off for holidays, and 20 sick leave days per year Fully remote job; Independent contractor/B2B contract; Educational support; Continuous feedback within teams and departments; Top-notch team; Ability to participate in decision-making and bring new ideas; Self-management: opportunity to manage your time and plan your activities; Dynamic fast-growing environment: we react and adapt quickly to the world and market changes.
