Responsibilities
- Identify trending entertainment, celebrity, TV, and reality news stories
- Publish timely, accurate, audience-focused content
- Develop original story ideas, angles, and reporting opportunities
- Self-publish content using EntertainmentNow’s CMS and standards
- Write SEO-friendly headlines and optimize content for readership
- Monitor entertainment conversations across social media, TV, digital platforms, and news outlets
- Cover breaking news quickly and accurately
- Source images and handle basic photo formatting/editing as needed
- Maintain consistent publishing volume
Compensation
Compensation is performance-based and directly tied to pageviews generated. Current rates:
- $5 per 1,000 pageviews under 100K monthly pageviews
- $8 per 1,000 pageviews from 100K to under 250K monthly pageviews
- $10 per 1,000 pageviews at 250K+ monthly pageviews
