Freelance Motion Designer (Video + Web Lottie Animations) – Part-Time / Project-Based

We are looking for a talented, versatile Freelance Motion Graphics Designer to help bring our visual concepts to life. This is a part-time, project-based position averaging 5 to 10 hours per week, though hours will fluctuate depending on our project pipeline. You will work closely with our lead developer to create high-end, custom motion graphics across two distinct mediums: YouTube video content and WordPress websites. We are strictly looking for original, custom-crafted human design. If your workflow relies on generating assets via Claude, Midjourney, or other generative AI tools, this is not the role for you. We need bespoke, intentional storytelling pieces built from scratch. Responsibilities:

• Video Assets: Design slick transitions, lower thirds, title cards, and kinetic graphics for our YouTube channel.
• Web Assets: Create custom UI animations, micro-interactions, and visual storytelling pieces specifically optimized for the web.
• Developer Handoff: Package web animations cleanly (typically via Lottie/JSON or web-optimized formats) so our developer can seamlessly install them into WordPress using Elementor Pro.

Requirements & Tools:

• Expertise in industry-standard video editing and motion tools (Adobe After Effects, plus familiarity with Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or Final Cut Pro).
• Proven experience creating web-ready animations (experience with Figma, LottieFiles, or Rive is a massive plus).
• You do not need to be a web designer or coder, but you must understand how motion translates to the web environment and how to hand off assets to a developer.
• Strong communication and reliability—able to take a conceptual brief/vision and run with it.
