Founding Engineer (LATAM Remote)

We’re seeking a highly skilled professional to join our growing team and contribute to our mission of launching the next wave of successful startups. Technical Challenge You will lead the design and delivery of end-to-end AI products, partnering with cross-functional stakeholders while staying hands-on across frontend and backend development. You will also guide the team in building scalable cloud-ready systems and improving the reliability of the delivery pipeline.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of fullstack features, owning architecture decisions and ensuring high-quality implementation across the frontend and backend.
• Drive backend system design and development, building and maintaining robust APIs and services that support product growth.
• Provide technical leadership to the engineering team, setting standards, mentoring teammates, and raising overall engineering excellence.
• Support DevOps and cloud infrastructure initiatives, improving deployment workflows, observability, and operational reliability for production systems.

Required Skills

• Demonstrated ability to build and ship modern fullstack applications with strong proficiency in TypeScript, Python, React, and Next.js, Django or similar frameworks.
• Strong backend development experience using Python or Node.js to design and implement reliable services and APIs.
• Experience developing and maintaining data layers using PostgreSQL, including designing schemas and supporting application performance needs.
• Ability to contribute across the stack, collaborating effectively on frontend development with Tailwind CSS and modern UI patterns, as well as backend integrations and AI/ML services using Python
• Experience building and maintaining systems using Python in support of product capabilities, services, or automation.
• Working knowledge of infrastructure-as-code and cloud operations practices, using tools such as Terraform and Kubernetes to support scalable environments.
• Proven leadership and team management capabilities, including guiding technical decisions, mentoring engineers, and coordinating delivery across priorities.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working with GCP.
