FLEX Senior Manager, Salesforce Administrator
JOB SUMMARY The FLEX Senior Manager, Salesforce Administrator plays a critical role in supporting and scaling Marriott Digital Services (MDS) Commercial Services Salesforce ecosystem, including the Commercial Services regional storefront websites. This role serves as a platform subject‑matter expert responsible for system configuration, governance, optimization, and day‑to‑day operational support across all Commercial Services Salesforce communities. The FLEX Senior Manager, Salesforce Administrator, partners closely with the MDS Salesforce Product Owners and technical teams to deliver scalable solutions that support sales, service, and community experiences around the globe. He or she is responsible for leading complex configuration efforts and helping to drive platform governance and best practices. Marriott Digital Services (MDS) operates in an agency-like model within the Commercial Performance organization. This centralized model provides individual hotels with comprehensive digital activation services across disciplines such as Search Engine Optimization (SEO), Content Management, Merchandising, Reporting and Paid Media as well as digital product sets such as HWS Discovery Pages, independent Outlet Sites, custom Collection hotel sites and more. This position reports to the Director, MDS Systems. CANDIDATE PROFILE Education and Experience Required
- Bachelor’s degree preferred; 10+ years of relevant work experience required in lieu of Bachelor’s degree
- 6+ years of hands-on Salesforce Administration experience, including Sales and Service Cloud
- Strong experience configuring lighting web components, flows, automation, reports, dashboards, and security models
- Proven ability to support complex, multi stakeholder Salesforce implementations in an enterprise environment
- Salesforce Administrator Certification (ADM 201) required; Advanced Administrator preferred
Preferred
- Experience collaborating with product owners, developers, and business teams in Jira or similar Agile too
- Exposure to Salesforce security, SSO, or RBAC concepts in enterprise environments
- Strong analytical, documentation, and troubleshooting skills
CORE WORK ACTIVITIES Platform Administration & Configuration
- Own the configuration and administration of Salesforce Sales/Service Cloud and Digital Experience sites supporting Commercial Services
- Manage standard and custom objects, fields, page layouts, flows, validation rules, record types, and automation to support workflows
- Support configuration of user access, permissions, profiles, and sharing models to ensure appropriate security and data visibility
- Monitor platform health, performance and adoption
Solution Delivery
- Translate business needs, enhancements and defects into technical requirements
- Build complex automation using Flow, approval processes, and business rules
- Partner with developers for custom solutions and integrations
Operational Support & Issue Management
- Serve as an escalation point for complex system issues, bugs, and data integrity concerns
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot errors, and support incident resolution in coordination with internal teams and vendors
- Support UAT efforts, releases, and change validation to ensure system stability
Reporting, Dashboards & Data Integrity
- Build and maintain Salesforce reports and dashboards to support Commercial Services KPIs
- Ensure data accuracy across enrollments, service records, and reporting views
Governance, Documentation & Enablement
- Enforce platform standards, best practices, and configuration governance across Commercial Services
- Create and maintain system documentation, configuration guides, and admin reference materials
- Support internal enablement efforts by assisting with training and demos
- Proactively recommend platform improvements and optimization opportunities
- Partner with cross‑functional stakeholders (IT, Security, Legal, Analytics, Finance) to support platform compliance and roadmap initiatives
