Down to Earth Cuisine (DTEC) is a private chef and meal delivery company serving clients across Seattle, San Diego, Orange County, and Las Vegas — with more markets on the way. We operate on the Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS), a structured framework built around clear roles, measurables, and accountability. We are growing fast and building the infrastructure to match. We are seeking a detail-oriented and execution-focused Finance Coordinator to serve as the operational engine of DTEC's finance function. This is a remote-friendly position ideal for someone who finds deep satisfaction in clean books, hates financial loose ends, and thrives in a structured yet fast-moving environment.
Responsibilities
Enter and manage client invoices for weekly meal prep subscriptions accurately and on time, applying correct service rates, discounts, and variable line items per established SOPs Monitor outstanding receivables, follow up on past-due accounts, and escalate unresolved balances to the Finance Lead in a timely manner Manage vendor invoice intake and payment processing, verifying invoices against purchase orders and approved budgets before processing Coordinate weekly payroll processing in partnership with operations, ensuring timesheet accuracy, classification correctness, and on-time submission Maintain financial dashboards that provide leadership with real-time visibility into revenue, costs, and margins Prepare weekly and monthly financial summaries for leadership review Review and audit employee and company credit card expenses for accuracy and policy compliance Communicate with state tax coordinators across Washington, California, and Nevada to support monthly reconciliation Flag discrepancies, irregularities, and out-of-policy spending to the Finance Lead proactively Qualifications 1–2+ years of experience in billing, invoicing, bookkeeping, or a finance support role Strong data entry skills — accuracy and consistency are the number one requirement for this role Comfort working in accounting or invoicing software, particularly QuickBooks Strong spreadsheet skills, specifically Google Sheets Ability to follow SOPs and documented processes consistently Proactive communicator who flags issues before they become problems Self-directed and organized in a remote or flexible work environment Experience supporting a multi-location or multi-state business preferred Familiarity with Google Workspace (Gmail, Drive, Docs, Sheets) preferred Experience in food service, hospitality, catering, or a subscription-based business preferred Experience supporting payroll platforms such as Guardian, ADP, or BambooHR preferred Details
- Hours: Part-time, 15-20 hours per week, Monday–Friday

- Compensation: $15–$18 per hour
