- Conduct financial analysis and create financial models to support business decisions
- Prepare and analyze financial reports, including budgeting and forecasting
- Develop and maintain financial models for budgeting, forecasting, and analysis
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and recommendations
- Develop and maintain financial policies and procedures
- Monitor financial performance and identify areas for improvement
- Provide support for audits and financial reporting requirements
- Assist in the preparation of grant proposals and grant reporting for nonprofit organizations
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting
- 2+ years of experience as a Financial Analyst or similar role
- Experience in the nonprofit sector preferred
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Advanced Excel skills, including proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Knowledge of financial software and systems, such as QuickBooks or SAP, preferred
