Join us and help shape the future of digital dentistry through cutting-edge 3D printing technology. www.heygears.com ─────────────────────────── Position ─────────────────────────── Field Support Associate (Entry Level) Location: East Coast, United States (Remote) Travel Required: Up to 50% (Domestic & occasional international travel) ─────────────────────────── About the Role ─────────────────────────── As a Field Support Associate, you'll be the face of HeyGears for customers across the East Coast. Working closely with our experienced Field Service team, you'll install, maintain, and support our advanced 3D printing and scanning solutions. This is an excellent opportunity for recent engineering graduates who enjoy hands-on work, solving technical problems, traveling, and interacting with customers. You'll receive comprehensive training before independently supporting customer sites and will have a clear path toward becoming a Field Service Engineer and future team leader. ─────────────────────────── What You'll Do ───────────────────────────
- Install, configure, and test HeyGears 3D printers, scanners, and related software at customer locations.
- Train customers on equipment operation, software workflow, and best practices.
- Perform preventive maintenance, equipment inspections, and basic repairs.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and workflow issues both remotely and onsite.
- Travel independently throughout your assigned territory to provide installation, maintenance, and customer support.
- Collaborate with Sales, Product, and Engineering teams to ensure outstanding customer experiences.
- Document service activities, customer feedback, and technical findings accurately.
- Continuously learn new products and technologies through hands-on training.
- As you gain experience, mentor new team members and take on increasing technical and leadership responsibilities.
─────────────────────────── What We're Looking For ─────────────────────────── Required
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Biomedical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
- Recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Strong communication skills in English.
- Comfortable traveling frequently and working independently.
- Hands-on mindset with strong mechanical aptitude.
- Passion for learning new technologies.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
Preferred
- Experience with CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Fusion 360, etc.)
- Basic understanding of electrical systems, PLCs, or industrial equipment.
- Internship or project experience involving equipment installation, maintenance, robotics, automation, or manufacturing.
- Experience with 3D printing, digital manufacturing, or medical devices is a plus.
