Job Summary

As a Part-Time Customer Service Support Specialist, you'll play a vital role in providing administrative support and exceptional customer service to our internal and external customers. This role requires a strong skillset in customer interactions, administrative tasks, and technical proficiency. Responsibilities

As a Part-Time Customer Service Support Specialist, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing administrative support, including handling incoming faxes, reporting, maintaining databases, member correspondences, and maintaining inventory supplies and marketing materials.
  • Assisting customers with basic inquiries and needs, such as processing payments, taking messages, and directing calls.
  • Logging service inquiries and documenting relevant information.
  • Scheduling sales and service appointments for retail team members.
  • Conducting initial research of service inquiries and forwarding for appropriate handling.
  • Making deliveries to postal services.
  • Performing other duties as assigned.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least one year of customer service experience, with a focus on dealing with customers via telephone and in-person.
  • Experience performing supportive functions in a customer-oriented environment.
  • Proficiency in general computer operations, including Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • A valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.

Certifications and Security Requirements

This position requires a level three (3) security clearance, which involves ensuring the security and confidentiality of records and information to prevent substantial harm, embarrassment, inconvenience, or unfairness to any individual on whom information is maintained. You'll also be required to adhere to the segregation of duties guidelines in the Administrative Manual.
