The Role
As an Office Clerk with Data Entry, you'll play a vital role in supporting our accounting department in organizing and maintaining accurate records. Your attention to detail, organizational skills, and friendly demeanor will make you an invaluable asset to our team. You'll be responsible for:
- Filing, scanning, and photocopying historical accounting documents according to document retention policies
- Organizing current invoices, tracking missing invoices, and ensuring accurate records
- Maintaining a well-organized filing system
- Assisting the accounting department in maintaining clean and accurate records
- Filing paperwork digitally and manually as necessary
- Performing other duties as assigned by the accounting team
The Ideal Candidate
We're looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual who is passionate about delivering exceptional results. If you have:
- A high school diploma or equivalent, with additional qualifications in office administration or a related field a plus
- Proven experience using scanning tools and software
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational abilities and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Familiarity with office management procedures and basic accounting principles
- Ability to lift 20-30 pounds
