As a DMS Lead Supply Attendant, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of the company's global supply chain. You will be responsible for coordinating transportation, managing shipments, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and laws.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate overall and local transportation, including arranging activities and improvements of parts by truck, air, and ocean.
  • Perform shipment splits and discrepancies, and prepare delivery and distribution documentation for internal and external compliance.
  • Transport stock and affirm things against import/convey necessities, where applicable.
  • Coordinate with transportation associations to plan, schedule, and direct import and item shipments.
  • Monitor associates and visitors, and maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Utilize various software systems, including SAP, MS Excel, Word, Outlook, SNAP-R, and Expert, to manage and track shipments.
  • Demonstrate a strong commitment to safety and security, and adhere to relevant regulations and laws.

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • A valid driver's license and the ability to work 40+ hours per week, primarily during M-F dayshift activities with occasional evenings and weekends.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent, and authorization to work in the US.
  • Proficiency in using various software systems, including SAP, MS Excel, Word, Outlook, SNAP-R, and Expert.

Preferred Qualifications

In addition to the essential qualifications, the following preferred qualifications will give you a competitive edge:

  • A long-term advanced degree in Materials Management, Trade Compliance Assertion, or a related field.
  • Related knowledge and experience with import and product breathing space strategies, and hazardous product regulations.
  • The ability to travel as required, and experience with SAP systems.
