Job Summary
We're seeking an experienced data entry professional to join our Corporate Accounting team. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for managing our General and Regulatory capabilities, corporate credit card, and travel programs. If you're a detail-oriented individual with a passion for data entry and corporate accounting, we encourage you to apply.
Key Responsibilities
* Own the month-end close cycle, including audit of paid ahead of time, collection, and business ledgers to guarantee fiscal summary exactness under US GAAP.
- Functional responsibilities include recording or journal entries (including intercompany entries), the preparation of accounting report reconciliations, budget versus actual review, and trend analysis.
- Drive process improvements and automate manual work processes to achieve efficiency.
- Create smart close packages that summarize key business and accounting trends for management review.
- Address Corporate Accounting in cross-functional collaborations with SP&A, Financial Applications, Travel and Cost, Cash Acquisition Activities, Tax, and regional accounting partners. Help teams in gathering required expectations for local reporting and compliance purposes.
Characteristics We're Searching For
* 4+ years of relevant accounting experience
- Understanding of US GAAP; CPA or equivalent certification preferred
- Ability to manage multiple competing priorities and meet tight time constraints
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Demonstrated experience implementing process improvements
- Flexibility in a rapidly changing environment
- Ability to tackle issues independently and exercise judgment when solutions are unclear
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
