Experienced Fractional CFO for Multi-Location Dental Practice
We are seeking an experienced Fractional CFO with a strong background in dental practices to provide financial leadership, strategic guidance, and oversight to our accounting team. This is not a hands-on bookkeeping or accounting role. We already have a team responsible for day-to-day accounting operations. We are looking for a CFO who can review financial information, identify opportunities and risks, recommend improvements, and guide the team on what should be implemented. Responsibilities:
- Review financial statements and management reports
- Analyze profitability, cash flow, and key performance indicators
- Identify financial risks and opportunities
- Develop financial strategies and growth recommendations
- Guide the accounting team on reporting, forecasting, budgeting, and KPI tracking
- Lead monthly client meetings to review financial performance, discuss recommendations, and answer questions
- Build trusted relationships with clients and communicate complex financial concepts in a simple, practical way
- Support the presentation and delivery of CFO advisory services to clients
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a CFO or Fractional CFO
- Experience working with dental practices or DSOs
- Strong understanding of dental industry KPIs and practice economics
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Strong client-facing and presentation skills
- Ability to confidently lead monthly financial review meetings
- Ability to identify additional CFO advisory opportunities and communicate the value of strategic financial services
- Experience managing or directing accounting teams
