Experienced Digital Marketing and Administrative Support Specialist for Remote Part-Time Opportunity

Job Responsibilities As a Digital Marketing and Administrative Support Specialist at blithequark, you will play a key role in the formulation and implementation of our digital marketing strategies. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting in the development of strategies to build a lasting digital connection with consumers
  • Planning and monitoring our ongoing presence on social media platforms, including Twitter, Facebook, and other relevant channels
  • Launching optimized online adverts through Google Adwords, Facebook, and other platforms to increase brand awareness and drive website traffic
  • Being actively involved in SEO efforts, including keyword research, image optimization, and other techniques to improve our search engine rankings
  • Preparing and distributing online newsletters and promotional emails to our subscribers and customers
  • Providing creative ideas for content marketing and updating our website with fresh and engaging content
  • Collaborating with our design team to improve user experience and ensure our website is visually appealing and easy to navigate
  • Measuring the performance of our digital marketing efforts using a variety of web analytics tools, including Google Analytics and WebTrends
  • Staying up-to-date with the latest online marketing trends and adjusting our strategies accordingly
  • Maintaining partnerships with media agencies and vendors to ensure we are getting the best possible results from our marketing campaigns

Administrative Support Responsibilities In addition to your digital marketing responsibilities, you will also provide administrative support to our team. This will include:

  • Providing data entry support, including accurately and efficiently entering data into our systems
  • Assisting with general administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments and responding to emails
  • Helping to maintain our database and ensuring all information is up-to-date and accurate
  • Providing exceptional customer service to our clients and customers, responding to their queries and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Proven experience as a Digital Marketing Executive or similar role, with a strong understanding of digital marketing concepts and best practices
  • Excellent knowledge of B2C social media, Google Adwords, and email campaigns, as well as SEO/SEM
  • Working knowledge of ad serving tools, such as DART and Atlas
  • Perfect knowledge of web analytics tools, including Google Analytics, NetInsight, and WebTrends
  • Skills and experience in creative content writing, with the ability to produce high-quality, engaging content
  • An analytical mindset and critical thinking, with the ability to measure and analyze the performance of our digital marketing efforts
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with our team and external partners
  • A BSc/BA in marketing or a relevant field, with a strong academic record and a passion for digital marketing

Preferred Qualifications

While not essential, the following qualifications and skills would be highly desirable:

  • Experience working in a remote or part-time capacity, with the ability to work independently and manage your time effectively
  • Knowledge of HTML and CSS, with the ability to make basic updates to our website
  • Experience with email marketing software, such as Mailchimp or Constant Contact
  • Knowledge of social media management tools, such as Hootsuite or Sprout Social
  • A certification in digital marketing, such as Google Analytics or HubSpot
