As a Data Entry Specialist at careerzynith, you will play a critical role in supporting the transfer of large amounts of data into our new database system and updating current database files. Responsibilities
As a Data Entry Specialist at careerzynith, your key responsibilities will include:
- Recording, reporting, and ensuring the accurate input of multiple types of data into the proper database cells
- Entering information in a work order and document control system, as well as completing manual forms as needed
- Possessing a thorough understanding of the document control and record files
- Receiving and processing incoming and outgoing materials
- Transferring confidential records and documents from one software program to another
- Utilizing photocopying and scanning equipment as needed
- Demonstrating excellent communication skills and working effectively in a team environment
- Staying on timeline and understanding deadlines
- Coordinating activities with plant supervisors, maintenance personnel, and other stakeholders to optimize database performance
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in data entry or a related field is preferred
- The ability to read and write effective reports and business correspondence using standard Microsoft Office products
- The ability to lift 50 pounds, move around production areas, and climb ladders or platforms while wearing safety and production-related equipment
- Previous experience operating computers and using database technology
