We're seeking an experienced Data Entry Specialist to join our team and contribute to the accurate and efficient processing of insurance claims and authorization requests. As a Data Entry Specialist, you'll be responsible for accurately entering data from insurance claims and/or authorization requests submitted by healthcare providers, navigating imaging software to retrieve claims and authorizations, and working collaboratively with other team members to ensure timely completion of work.

  • *Key Responsibilities**

• Accurately enter data from insurance claims and/or authorization requests submitted by healthcare providers

  • Enter data from insurance claims and/or authorization requests expediently and efficiently to meet client turnaround times
  • Navigate efficiently and effectively through the imaging software to retrieve claims and authorizations for data entry
  • Differentiate between different claim types and follow the appropriate data entry guidelines
  • Accurately identify specific document types that require special handling
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure that work is completed in accordance with designated turnaround times
  • Support additional workflows as needed due to internal or external requirements
  • Perform quality review of other team members' claims/authorizations according to established data entry guidelines
  • Contribute to the team effort by accomplishing additional responsibilities as needed
  • Alert management of potential issues upon identification of discrepancies
  • Provide recommendations on process improvements to increase efficiencies as appropriate
  • *Essential Qualifications**

• High school diploma or equivalent

  • 6 months or more years of experience in data entry or typing-focused role
  • Strong data entry/typing skills
  • Excellent attention to detail

• Experience working in a healthcare or insurance-related field

  • Knowledge of imaging software and data entry systems
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills

• Strong data entry/typing skills (8,200 KSPH with a 98% Accuracy Rate)

  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify discrepancies
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to navigate imaging software and data entry systems
  • Strong knowledge of data entry guidelines and procedures
