  • *Job Responsibilities:**

As a Remote Customer Service Representative at careerzynith, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing exceptional customer service to individuals, families, small group employees, and brokers seeking information, enrollment assistance, and other services related to the Maryland Health Connection (MHC)
  • Assisting clients with eligibility and enrollment for Medicaid, and services applications and enrollments for Qualified Health Plans on the Exchange
  • Utilizing the State's eligibility and enrollment portal and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software to perform tasks and duties for HIX customers
  • Ensuring delivery of high-quality service for all Maryland consumers
  • Resolving issues efficiently and effectively, and escalating complex cases to senior representatives when necessary
  • Maintaining accurate records and updating client information in a timely manner
  • Collaborating with internal teams to ensure seamless communication and resolution of client issues
  • *Requirements:**

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma, GED, or equivalent certification
  • Recent call center experience, preferably in a healthcare or customer service setting
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to perform comfortably in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented work environment
  • Ability to successfully execute many complex tasks simultaneously
  • Experience working with culturally and linguistically diverse and disadvantaged populations in a courteous and effective manner
  • Background in healthcare, human services, or customer service
  • *Preferred Qualifications:**

• Experience in data entry and call centers

  • Familiarity with CRM software and other State systems
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment and provide support to colleagues as needed

  • A minimum of 1 USB Gen 2 or newer port (wired headset)
  • 1 RJ-45 connection for a wired connection to an internet router
  • A wired headset and microphone with a USB Gen2 or newer connection
  • Video camera capability, necessary for training
  • A wired internet connection from your computer to a router or modem, with a minimum download speed of 100 MBPS and upload speed of 10 MBPS
