Responsibilities

As a Customer Development Manager at careerzynith, you'll be responsible for creating and delivering insights and recommendations using various data sources. This will involve:

• Monitoring the field execution of vendor programs to ensure seamless delivery of products and services to our customers
• Staying informed of analytic best practices across the industry to stay ahead of the curve
• Analyzing and reporting data to identify issues, trends, or exceptions that impact our business
• Tracking category performance, including sales, profits, margins, and market share, to inform business decisions
• Developing, communicating, executing, and monitoring performance metrics and goals to drive business growth
• Creating and delivering effective reports using POS data and syndicated data to inform business decisions
• Analyzing the supply chain to evaluate and recommend supplier performance to ensure seamless delivery of products and services
• Understanding and applying customer, consumer, and industry insights using market research data to inform business decisions
• Ensuring superior client satisfaction through deep analytics and team problem-solving

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

• A Bachelor's Degree and experience within the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) sector, with a preference for Adult Beverage experience
• A deep understanding of National Chain Sales, Retail, and Distributor operations
• Expertise in category management principles and shopper/consumer insights
• A high-level understanding of Category Management processes and practices
• Assertive leadership and decision-making skills with high energy
• Preferred experience with Syndicated data (Nielsen, IRI) and Internal Shipment Data
• A strong foundation in business fundamentals and business finance
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, and quantitative analysis skills
• Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint

Nice-to-haves

While not required, experience in the Adult Beverage industry, familiarity with market research methodologies, and the ability to collaborate with external retail customers and key suppliers would be a plus.
