Event Sourcing and Contracting Specialist
Our client, a global leader in IT services and solutions is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Event Sourcing and Contracting Specialist to join their team. As an integral part of the Event Planning Department supporting the Event Operations Team, the ideal candidate will demonstrate strong negotiation skills, excellent organizational abilities, and a proactive approach to vendor management. Your soft skills such as effective communication, problem-solving, and adaptability will enable you to thrive in this role and contribute to the success of our events. Job Title: Event Sourcing and Contracting Specialist Location: Remote (within the U.S.) Pay Range: $30-33/hr W2 What's the Job?
- Collaborate with event planners and stakeholders to identify and source vendors, venues, and suppliers.
- Conduct market research to identify potential partners and evaluate their suitability for specific events.
- Build and maintain a network of reliable event-related vendors.
- Negotiate contracts with vendors, venues, and suppliers, securing favorable terms, pricing, and deliverables.
- Review and analyze contract terms, identifying potential risks and proposing solutions.
What's Needed?
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Event Management, or related field preferred.
- Proven experience in event sourcing, vendor management, or contract negotiation roles.
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Cvent experience preferred.
