Here is how the Engineering Technician role will impact our business: Position provides engineering support for midstream regulatory compliance for all regulated assets such as pipelines, compression, and other facilities including integrity management, and smart pigging (In-line Inspection, ILI) The Engineering Technician I/II/III responsibilities include but are not limited to: Annual Pipeline Safety Agency Reporting (Federal and State) Processing pipeline class location data and HCA studies Working with third party vendors providing mapping data Pipeline Safety audit support Coordinate with Engineering, Operations, Integrity Management, Compliance, and GIS teams to ensure accurate asset information Assist with data validation and quality control for regulatory reporting Required Experience and Skills: At least 1 year of experience in Oil and Gas mapping or compliance Associate's Degree required Proficiency in Geographical Information Systems (GIS) Strong background in Microsoft Office specifically Excel Strong organizational, communication, and collaboration skills Preferred Experience and Skills: Degree in Geography or related field General understanding of pipeline safety regulations 49 CFR parts 192 and 195 Basic understanding of In-line Inspection data Experience with ESRI ArcGIS, ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online, or similar GIS platforms Experience with pipeline database systems, document management systems Remote work is being considered for this role excluding the following states: California, Connecticut, Delaware, Illinois, Indiana, Louisiana, Massachusetts, Michigan, New Jersey, New York, and Tennessee unless willing to relocate. Selected incumbent will be placed into the position that best suits their abilities and experience level.
