E-Commerce Operations Intern (Remote / Part-Time · Unpaid) About Aokani Home Aokani Home is a fast-growing furniture e-commerce brand serving international students and young renters across the US. Backed by our family's own furniture factory in China, we sell across Amazon, Walmart, eBay, and our Shopify store — making it easy for people to furnish a home far from home. The Role We're looking for a hands-on E-Commerce Operations Intern to help manage our growing product catalog. You'll own the day-to-day of getting products listed, organized, and live across our channels. This is a great fit if you want real, end-to-end e-commerce experience in a small, fast-moving team where what you do actually ships. What you'll do
- Manage the product lifecycle: sourcing support, SPU/SKU setup, and listing/delisting
- Build and optimize product pages — titles, descriptions, specs, and image layout
- Set pricing and keep inventory synced across platforms
- Help organize bulk product uploads and catalog data (Excel)
- Support general store operations as we grow
What we're looking for
- Bilingual in English and Mandarin Chinese (required — we work with Chinese suppliers and serve a bilingual customer base)
- Currently enrolled students welcome — international students strongly encouraged to apply
- Some familiarity with e-commerce (Shopify / Amazon / marketplaces a plus)
- Interest in "vibe coding" / no-code tools and a willingness to learn — we'll teach you the rest
- Some understanding of or interest in the furniture / home goods space
- Detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable with repetitive catalog work done right
