Director, Vendor Management

Position Purpose: Manage vendor relationships and ensure vendor compliance with established internal and/or regulatory performance metrics.

• Accumulate, monitor, and report on vendor performance metrics to business unit management
• Communicate expectations and vendor performance against established performance metrics to vendors, including development, implementation and follow up on annual vendor goals and targets
• Ensure applicable vendor performance improvement plans and/or corrective action plans are initiated and completed as expected. Ensure vendors sustain required performance improvements/outcomes through verification audits
• Conduct oversight meetings which include vendors, internal partners, and other stakeholders as appropriate
• Oversee health plan participation in annual delegation audits
• Provide follow-through on audit deficiencies to assure corrective actions are implemented
• Facilitate communication to/from vendors and internal partners

Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree in Business or related field. 7+ years of vendor management experience, including government programs health care or related experience in multiple areas of operations. Proficient with MS-Project or other project management software and MS-Office applications. Project management, administration or operations in the Healthcare industry preferred. Experience in training/education and use of statistical analysis preferred. This position is 100% remote within the United States with up to 20% travel annually as needed for vendor and team meetings. Actual pay will be adjusted based on an individual's skills, experience, education, and other job-related factors permitted by law, including full-time or part-time status.
