The Director, Provider Partnership Management, is responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive provider engagement and partnership strategy across assigned markets. This leadership role oversees a team dedicated to strengthening provider relationships, enhancing provider experience, driving network growth, and supporting key business initiatives. As the senior leader for regional provider partnerships, the Director is accountable for provider satisfaction, retention, growth, and the development of high-value strategic relationships. The role oversees performance across multiple geographic regions and collaborates closely with cross-functional partners, including Provider Development, Operations, Marketing, Training, Risk, and other business leaders, to advance organizational goals and deliver consistent, value-driven outcomes for providers. The Director serves as a trusted strategic partner to both internal stakeholders and external providers, leveraging data, market insights, and relationship management best practices to optimize engagement, improve provider performance, and support long-term organizational growth. Location: Remote (United States) Key Responsibilities: Develop and execute the overall Provider Partnership Management strategy. Lead provider engagement, retention, and growth initiatives across assigned regions. Build and maintain executive-level relationships with providers and key stakeholders. Serve as the senior escalation point for provider issues and concerns. Drive provider participation, engagement, and growth objectives. Partner with Operations, Marketing, Training, Risk, and other departments to ensure a seamless provider experience. Analyze regional performance and identify opportunities for improvement. Develop and implement regional growth strategies. Establish performance metrics, service standards, and accountability measures. Lead organizational readiness efforts related to provider expansion and growth. Support future expansion into additional states and markets. Provide regular reporting and recommendations to executive leadership. Recruit, develop, and lead a high-performing Provider Partnership Management team. Qualifications: Demonstrated success and a proven track record in professional/life experience in specific job functions, projects, or industries. Military service can substitute for professional experience and/or formal education requirements. Minimum of 8–10 years of progressive experience in relationship management, account management, business development, stakeholder engagement, provider management, or a related field, with at least 5 years in a leadership role overseeing teams and strategic initiatives. Demonstrated experience developing and managing high-value partnerships, driving stakeholder engagement, and leading regional or multi-site relationship management functions. Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams, establish performance metrics, and drive accountability across multiple geographic regions or business units. Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, including operations, marketing, training, compliance, and leadership, to achieve organizational objectives and improve stakeholder experiences. Experience within education, nonprofit, public sector, healthcare, or provider-based organizations is highly desirable. You’ll Stand Out If You Have: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Education, Public Administration, Communications, Marketing, or a related field required. Master’s degree preferred. Experience building and executing strategies that support customer, provider, or partner retention, satisfaction, and growth is strongly preferred. Knowledge of school choice programs, education providers, or large-scale service delivery models is preferred.
