We serve customers across multiple market verticals including Auto, Health, Home, and Life Insurance, providing significant value to consumers through an independent, third-party comparison-shopping experience. We're seeking a Data Analyst to turn SQL into dashboards for actionable insights that drive revenue optimization, partner performance, and strategic decision-making across the organization. You'll build Looker dashboards, write SQL, and deliver the reporting that marketing across the organization rely on daily. This is a hands-on role for someone who is strong in SQL and Looker and eager to grow their skills while delivering analytics that matter. You'll work directly with marketing, operations, and engineering teams to surface opportunities, monitor KPIs, and ensure data-driven decisions at every level. Key Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain Looker dashboards and explores that provide real-time visibility into lead generation, monetization, and partner performance metrics.
- Write complex SQL queries in BigQuery to analyze large datasets spanning insurance leads, call routing, partner revenue, and marketing attribution.
- Develop and maintain LookML models that accurately represent business logic and enable self-service analytics across teams.
- Analyze campaign performance, conversion funnels, and revenue trends to identify optimization opportunities.
- Create automated reporting workflows that replace manual processes and ensure stakeholders have timely, accurate data.
- Partner with marketing and operations teams to define KPIs, set targets, and build the measurement frameworks to track them.
- Perform ad hoc analysis to support strategic initiatives, pricing decisions, and partner negotiations with data-backed recommendations.
- Monitor data quality within analytics outputs, flagging discrepancies and working with data engineering to resolve upstream issues.
- Document data definitions, metric calculations, and dashboard logic to ensure consistency and institutional knowledge.
Must-Have Technical Skills: Hands-on expertise with:
- Looker & LookML:
Building dashboards and explores; experience working with and contributing to LookML models
- SQL:
Strong SQL proficiency, comfortable with window functions, CTEs, complex joins, and subqueries in BigQuery
- BigQuery:
Experience querying and analyzing large-scale datasets in Google BigQuery
- Data Visualization:
Ability to design clear dashboards that communicate insights to technical and non-technical audiences
- Data Analysis:
Can take a business question and turn it into a structured analysis You should have experience delivering analytics in a Data Analyst , Business Analyst , or BI Analyst capacity.

Skills: Experience or familiarity with any of the following:
- Transformation Tools:
DBT for managing SQL-based transformation layers
- Spreadsheets:
Advanced Google Sheets or Excel for modeling and ad hoc analysis
- Python/R:
Scripting for data analysis, automation, or statistical modeling
- Performance Marketing:
Familiarity with lead generation, CPA/CPL metrics, and insurance vertical dynamics
- Databases:
Familiarity with StratoBaseDB or similar columnar analytics databases
- ETL/Data Pipelines:
Understanding of how data flows from source systems into the warehouse

Git and GitHub for managing LookML and analytics code
- Statistical Analysis:

- 2+ years of experience in a data analyst, business intelligence, or analytics role.
- Strong Looker experience including building dashboards, explores, and working with LookML models.
- Strong SQL skills with the ability to write complex queries against large datasets.
- Experience working with BigQuery or similar cloud data warehouses.
