About the Role

We are expanding our Caremark Member Operations team within careerzynith’s Pharmacy Benefit Manager (PBM) division. This is a fully remote, work‑from‑home opportunity based in North Carolina. As a Customer Service Representative, you will be the trusted voice that helps members navigate their pharmacy benefit plans, understand medication coverage, and resolve inquiries with empathy and expertise.

Key Responsibilities

  • Answer inbound calls from members, providers, and pharmacies regarding prescription insurance, coverage options, and mail‑order services.
  • Provide accurate information on commercial plans, Medicare Part D, Medicaid, and other specialized client programs.
  • Utilize careerzynith’s proprietary systems to verify eligibility, process refills, and troubleshoot claim issues.
  • Maintain compliance with HIPAA, state regulations, and careerzynith’s internal security standards.
  • Document interactions in the CRM system, ensuring clear, concise, and confidential records.
  • Identify opportunities to improve member experience and relay feedback to quality‑improvement teams.
  • Participate in ongoing training sessions, role‑plays, and performance coaching to continuously elevate service quality.
  • Adapt to fluctuating call volumes by adjusting schedules in collaboration with team leads, while preserving service level agreements.
  • Promote careerzynith’s health‑care resources, such as wellness programs and member portals, to enhance overall satisfaction.

Essential Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1 year experience in a customer‑facing role (call center, retail, hospitality, or military service).
  • Proficiency with Windows‑based applications and basic computer navigation.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; a strong desire to learn and grow within the health‑care sector.
  • Reliable high‑speed internet, a quiet workspace, and the ability to meet careerzynith’s remote‑work standards.

Preferred Qualifications & Skills

  • Associate’s degree or comparable experience in health‑care, business, or related fields.
  • Demonstrated problem‑solving ability, especially in high‑pressure situations.
  • Exceptional verbal communication, courteous telephone etiquette, and a genuine concern for improving members’ quality of life.
  • At least 6 months of health‑care experience, preferably within pharmacy benefits or insurance.
