Job Summary
This is a part-time, remote position that requires a strong and diverse skillset in customer service, technical capacity, and organizational skills. As a Customer Service Representative for Radiology Billing, you'll be responsible for providing effective, courteous customer service via email, mail, or telephone, resolving issues, and generating correspondence to resolve customer disputes. You'll be a key member of our team, working closely with internal and external customers to deliver exceptional results.
Primary Job Duties
As a Customer Service Representative for Radiology Billing, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Responding to patient phone calls, resolving issues in a single call
- Opening and managing ARR inquiries, returning phone calls to resolve issues efficiently
- Reporting collection agency payments promptly
- Generating correspondence to resolve customer disputes
- Documenting every phone call
- Performing other tasks as assigned by leadership
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you'll need to possess the following qualifications:
Education:
High school education or associate degree from college or technical school
Experience:
Two years of related experience or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience
Call Center Experience:
At least two years of experience working in a call center and/or customer service
Technical Skills:
Computer operating systems experience in Windows 7 or Windows 10, Microsoft Office Suite, and ability to type and use a 10-key accurately
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, the following qualifications would be a plus:
- Experience in the medical billing field
- Computer software programs in Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to type and use a 10-key accurately
