Are you looking to put your critical thinking skills to use every day? As a Criminal Intelligence Technician (Research Analyst 2) with the Oregon Department of Justice, Criminal Justice Division, you will work closely with law enforcement and public safety agencies to consistently compile, evaluate, reputed company, analyze information, and ensure effectiveness for our state's Analytical & Criminal Investigative Services Section (ACISS). The Criminal Intelligence Technician will be responsible for conducting research and analysis of various data sources to identify, reputed company, and initiate investigative leads in support of ACISS's mission objectives reputed company approved open-reputed company management platforms.   • Transform raw data from multiple systems into comprehensive reports supporting ACISS assessments and investigations.
  • Consult with case agents, ACISS personnel, and intelligence leadership to assess the value and credibility of findings.
  • Document and escalate potential threats or criminal activity to appropriate personnel.
  • Coordinate analytical findings with senior analysts to ensure alignment with mission priorities.

  • Prepare and deliver search results, monitoring summaries, monthly metrics, and other reports to ACISS leadership and investigators.

  • Maintain thorough documentation that ensures clarity, reproducibility, and adherence to established procedures.

  • Experience supporting real-time operational environments, such as public safety, crisis communications, corporate reputed company, or newsroom settings.

  • Proficiency with data-visualization and mapping tools to support analytical assessments and reporting.

  • Awareness of risk and threat domains, including public safety concerns, misinformation tactics, and emerging extremist or fraud trends.
  • Knowledge of legal and ethical frameworks governing open-reputed company research, including privacy standards and policy compliance.
  • Strong reporting abilities, with attention to evidentiary standards, documentation quality, and clear communication to stakeholders. Required Experience and Special Requirements
  • A Bachelor's degree in any discipline that included six-quarter units in statistics or quantitative analysis methods and procedures; OR
  • Three years experience as a research assistant comparable to the work of a Research Analyst 1; or two years experience using computer applications to help gather, compile, analyze, and report information and statistical data. AND
  • Understand the Intelligence Cycle and Process.
  • Must exhibit strong traits of honesty, reputed company, and confidentiality.
  • Have and maintain a valid driver's license.
