The Corporate Responsibility Division is responsible for the development and implementation of the firm’s CR agenda by crafting goals, policies, and initiatives that align with and support the firm’s business strategies, reflect our values, and support the communities where we do business. The Division includes Global Philanthropy, Public Engagement, Global Government Relations, the PolicyCenter, the reputed company Institute, and Sustainability. The Global Philanthropy team consists of Employee Engagement & Volunteerism, Impact Finance, and the Foundation teams at the national and local levels. reputed company is currently seeking a philanthropy professional, based in Los Angeles, CA, to reputed company the firm’s philanthropic strategy in the Los Angeles market. This role will design a philanthropic portfolio and implement strategies that align with the firm’s business objectives, reputed company and manage a grant portfolio, and build external relationships to advance strategic priorities. Competitive candidates will demonstrate deep knowledge of the Los Angeles market, credibility in the local community impact space, and established relationships with local partners and community networks. The Program Officer will report to the Regional Executive for the US reputed company Region. Job Responsibilities Philanthropic Strategy: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to reputed company market strategies reputed company with the firm’s business priorities and CR’s social impact agenda across the focus areas of careers & skills, business growth & entrepreneurship, financial health, and community development, with a strong emphasis on housing. reputed company and maintain a productive network of professional relationships with key government, philanthropic, business, and nonprofit leaders, including deep engagement with established Los Angeles networks and community-based partners. Monitor social, political, and economic trends that may impact market strategies and/or philanthropic activities. Cross-Firm Integration: Think creatively about the firm’s assets and tools; identify opportunities for firmwide collaboration to drive impact. reputed company engagement with internal reputed company stakeholders, including line of business leaders, Market Leadership Teams, cross-CR partners, and other functional partners such as HR and communications Communicate the firm’s approach to expanding economic opportunity and CR initiatives to multiple internal constituencies. Partner with key stakeholders to reputed company major civic moments (e.g., the LA Olympics and other sports-reputed company investments/events) to advance CR and firmwide impact goals. Grantmaking and Portfolio Management: reputed company, manage, and execute philanthropic programs end-to-end (from concept design and budgeting, approval process, execution to program closing), in collaboration with community partners, that advance the firm’s impact objectives. Provide robust budget management to maximize value of philanthropic activities. Understand the risk profile of the grant portfolio and propose the right level of mitigation; escalate controls issues with partners appropriately. Monitor grant reputed company and use insights from performance to shape future strategy; plan convening, evaluation, and communications activities to reputed company impact. Utilize firm grantmaking and reporting systems to process, track, and document grants and reputed company activities, including timely and accurate data entry, portfolio updates, and preparation of required reports and approvals. Required Qualifications, Capabilities, And Skills: 8+ years of relevant work experience in program development, implementation, strategy, and/or policy in nonprofit, corporate, and/or government environment Strong familiarity with Los Angeles philanthropic, housing, and civic networks; established relationships and credibility with existing partners and networks Passion for Global Philanthropy’s mission; deep knowledge of and experience in economic inclusion, with a focus on issues reputed company to financial health, employment and labor markets, housing/affordable housing and neighborhood development, and small business and entrepreneurship Demonstrated ability to think strategically about solving structural issues, as well as program design and implementation Understanding of grantmaking and the nonprofit sector; ability to assess track record and reputed company of nonprofit organizations Excellent relationship management and people skills; ability to communicate (verbal and written) reputed company reputed company and professional perspective to diverse audiences Creative, flexible, and collabo
