Corporate Archivist – Part Time

End Date: 1+ year Schedule: part time, 20 hours per week Location: Oakland, CA 94612 Job Code: JPC-11005 Tekberry is looking for a highly qualified and motivated Corporate Archivist to work on-site with our client, a top-tier consumer packaged goods company. As a W2 employee you will have access to health benefits. Responsibilities:

• Maintain archive policies and procedures for asset accession, research, storage and long-term preservation of collection.
• Catalog assets in archive management system, including digitization of physical assets using scanner or digital photography.
• Respond to archive inquires and requests including asset retrieval, historical research and fact checking.
• Administer archive management system including users, site hierarchy and content changes.
• Administer external historical website including regular content updates and user administration.
• Develop and proactively drive ongoing asset collection processes with internal business partners.
• Identify and recommend items to retain, purge or acquire to fill gaps.
• Identify, acquire and catalog new assets, as needed.
• Conduct ongoing review of scope of new assets to be housed in the archive Qualifications:
• Degree in archival practices or comparable preferred
• Five or more years business archive experience
• Demonstrated knowledge of the creation and management of electronic records, especially in an archive management system
• Ability to manage workload in a timely, effective manner with minimum supervision
• Excellent written communication skills
• Strong research and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently and in collaboration with others, with a high degree of accuracy and sensitivity to confidentiality
• Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills in professional environment
• Knowledge of archive management systems and metadata standards
