Contract Therapist – Measurement-Based Care
Position Overview We are seeking a skilled and adaptable Contract Therapist to support the pilot implementation of our Measurement-Based Care (MBC) Therapy initiative. This role is designed to enhance patient outcomes by integrating real-time clinical data into brief, targeted therapeutic interventions. This position provides clinical, therapeutic services to patients involved in MAT, Psych, and/or BH services at PLH.. The therapist will deliver meaningful clinical interventions informed by patient-reported data to evaluate progress, provide ongoing support, and ensure patients are receiving coordinated effective care and services. This is a remote, part-time contract position starting at approximately 2 days per week, with the potential to expand into a full-time role based on program needs and performance. Key Responsibilities - Provide on-demand (“on-call”) therapeutic support for patients attending MAT appointments - Review and interpret standardized assessment tools, including BAM-R, PHQ-9, Social Determinants of Health, and Patient Satisfaction Surveys - Compare current assessment results to baseline and prior scores to identify trends and clinical needs - Deliver brief, targeted therapeutic interventions including supportive counseling, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Motivational Interviewing (MI) - Address ambivalence, reinforce recovery goals, and support behavioral change - Collaborate with patients to identify barriers to recovery and connect them with appropriate internal or external services - Document clinical interactions and relevant findings in accordance with organizational standards - Communicate clinically relevant insights to the care team as appropriate - Participate in feedback loops to refine and improve the MBC pilot model Schedule, Commitment, and Compensation Initial Commitment: Approximately 2 days per week Work Type: Remote Growth Potential: Opportunity to expand into a full-time role based on pilot success and organizational need Compensation: $40-$50 per hour Reporting Structure Reports To: - Chief Clinical Officer and/or Director of Virtual Therapy Services Preferred Qualifications - Masters level behavioral health clinician. Prefer fully licensed but not required (LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or equivalent) - Experience working with substance use disorders and/or MAT populations - Proficiency in Motivational Interviewing and brief therapy models - Experience with measurement-based care or outcomes-informed treatment preferred - Comfortable interpreting standardized clinical assessments and applying findings in real time - Ability to work independently in a remote, fast-paced environment - Strong clinical judgment, communication, and documentation skills Key Competencies - Data-informed clinical decision making - Patient engagement and rapport-building in brief encounters - Ability to deliver meaningful therapeutic interventions in short durations - Adaptability and responsiveness in a dynamic care environment - Collaborative, team-oriented mindset - High level of organization and follow-through Additional Notes This role is part of an innovative pilot program aimed at integrating measurement-based care into routine clinical practice. It is a clinical intervention role—not a screening or SBIRT-only function.
