Job Description

Transcom is seeking a detail-oriented and empathetic Content Moderator to join our fully remote team in Sweden. Key Responsibilities

  • Review and moderate user-generated content (text, images, video, audio) based on established client guidelines and policies.
  • Accurately identify and escalate content that violates policies, including but not limited to hate speech, violence, harassment, and illegal activities.
  • Apply critical thinking and judgment to complex moderation scenarios, ensuring consistent and fair decision-making.
  • Maintain high levels of productivity and quality in a fast-paced environment.
  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to clarify guidelines and improve moderation processes.
  • Provide constructive feedback and insights to improve tools and policies.
  • Stay updated on evolving content trends, platform changes, and policy updates.
  • Protect user privacy and confidentiality in all interactions and content reviews. Required Skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to make consistent, objective decisions based on complex guidelines.
  • High level of empathy and emotional resilience to handle potentially disturbing content.
  • Proficiency in using web browsers and basic computer applications.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in content moderation, customer service, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with various social media platforms and online content trends.
  • Proficiency in additional languages (e.g., Swedish, Danish, Norwegian, Finnish) is a significant plus.
  • Experience working in a remote or distributed team environment.
