Position: Phonetics Expert Type: Hourly contract Compensation: $40 - $95/hour Location: Remote Commitment: 10–40 hours/week Role Responsibilities
- Transcribe multimedia content with high accuracy, including precise timestamps.
- Analyze phonetic and phonological patterns in spoken language.
- Evaluate tone, emotion, and intent in verbal communication.
- Document grammatical structures and linguistic patterns across content.
- Define and interpret words and phrases within contextual meaning.
- Prepare clear and detailed reports on linguistic and phonetic analysis.
- Collaborate with teams to support advanced language and annotation tasks.
Requirements
- Native-level English proficiency with strong communication skills.
- Strong experience in phonetic and phonological analysis.
- Expertise in precision transcription and linguistic annotation.
- Deep understanding of grammar, semantics, and language structures.
- Ability to analyze tone, emotion, and intent in speech.
- Excellent attention to detail and consistency in analysis.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment and manage tasks effectively.
